my ford focus2008bonnet wont open with the key can any one help please im going on holiday today and need to check my water and oil i would be most grateful if any one can help thanks.

give the lock a good soak with wd40 or other penetrating fluid and if your key looks worn try a spare key if you have one,if you get it open plan to give the lock a regular oil or spray grease into the lock.There are loads of posts on here regarding bonnet locks on Fords and I think the majority are due to lack of maintenance
