Mend Panasonic TX-L32X3B Noise Tv Fine

Background whistling noise on Panasonic TX-L32X3B?

We purchased this TV in January and everything was fine for a couple of months . When set has been on for a couple of hours there is a whistling sound in the background - even with sound turned down. We have had engineer to look at it but they could not hear this noise, could it be the cooling fan and has anyone else come across this. Is very irritating
