My HP deskjet 1470 has stopped working?

Hello, my hp deskjet printer has stopped working and i dont know why!. My partner has her Hp deskjet installed on her desktop pc,then one day it simply wouldnt print. Despite checking ink cartridges were full and uninstalling/re-installing drivers several times it still fails to work. I have even tried it on my laptop with w7 os but still no good.The printer is HP deskjet D1470

Any help would be appreciated!!
