do i need a cat in a peugeot 307 to pass an mot?

Any petrol car first registered after August 1992 will have a catalytic converter and under the new MOT regulations of 1 Jan 2012 if it was fitted at original manufacture it must be present for the test or it will fail. As your car is much later than this date, the Cat must be there to pass the MOT
