Mend Ariston AWD125 Turn Unable Remove

open drain cap on ariston awd125?

I tried to open the drain cap but was only able to half turn the cap and unable to remove. Any ideas please?

you may be lucky by tilting the machine towards the wall behind it allowing the obstruction to move and allowing you to turn the filter fully, otherwise the pump will have to be removed to free it up, alas the problem is down to not emptying pockets and allowing money to be laundered.lol.
