Mend Whirlpool LSR8233EQO Washer Stops Cycle

Whirlpool LSR8233EQO tud won't spin?

My washer stops at the spin cycle. It make a vibrating noise and begins to have a burning smell. When I tried to turn the tub by hand it seemed to be stuck. After a while it finally turned, but not on its own. I thought maybe something had twisted up under it, but I am unable to remove the bolt from under the cup.

Hello,

Does the washer agitate or are you getting the same noise as when it spins? Same noise and I would check out the motor coupler between motor and the gearcase.
