Honda HF2417 HME wire problem?

I also had a power failure on my 2417 and it was clearly a poor connection because it would go away for a while if I shook the wires under the dash. I too found the singleton yellow wire and thought it was the answer, but it wasn't. I could find nowhere to connect it. Eventually I traced the problem to a loose connector going to the 10 A red fuse. When that was pushed in properly everything was OK. I suggest you check through all your connections. I don't know what the yellow wire does. Does anyone?
