How can I fix my kitchenaid kud124se dishwasher?

My dishwasher has been making some unusual noises while in operation. While it is on the wash cycle, it makes an irregular whining or groaning kind of sound and the usual water spray sound has become inconsistant. This has been going on for several weeks, quite a few loads of dishes have been washed in that time, everything works but the strange noises sound like something is about to quit.

We have very low water pressure, and it fluctuates.
I can see where it might not fill sufficiently.

It has been over a year since I checked for answers.
Dishwasher still runs, still makes those sounds.

After it fills, add about a quart of water. IF the sound goes away it's low on water. That would be a water valve . It's a timed fill and a plugged water valve will not allow enough water in the alloted time. replace the water valve. Simple repair.
