Mend Kenmore 1803 Bobbin Winder Not Winding

Bobbin winder is not winding?

I have a Kenmore model 1803. The bobbin winder is not working. The first couple of times I tried to use it it started for just a second, now it will not do anything. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have replaced the bobbin winder on my toyota RS2000.A spring fell out and I don't where it goes. I have always had trouble with my winder.

your bobbin winder got a rubber ring running against handwheel when engaged,ensure rubber does not have flat sides and also check for dirt where it touch the handwheel.easy and cheap to replace if it is a worn rubber
