Volkswagen golf 2003?

I am having problems with rear door passenger side lock, it has been sticking and sometimes you can get it open but lately it has been constantly sticking, can anyonw in Belfast area repair problem.thanks

there is a guide for to the lock rod attached to the latch assembly. most likely broken, needs replaced. if you can pull up hard on the lock knob with plyers it will work. they did that when they were new. there was a recall on these, check with a genuine vw dealership for info. should be free repair.

get the door open take inner panel off with the window up you can see the lock give it a good spray with wd40 good luck
