Mend AEG 56840L Aeg Starts Stops

What is wrong with my aeg lavatherm 56840L?

My tumble dryer starts ok but stops after acouple of minutes but the timer continues to count down occasionally it shows the water tank is full even though it is empty. Hope someone can help me thank you
