Mend Lights Not Working

lights not working?

water leaked through the ceiling from the bathroom into the kitchen through the light fitting,which tripped the fuse box.when re set the fuse box the ceiling lights wouldn't work apart from the front room,and hall and stairs light. Any ideas on why this is and how we can fix it? Everything has dried out by the way. thanks

water could have blown some wires off the rose,you need to check it,you may have loop in,loop out wiring to your lights,that is to say live and neutral comes from fuse box,to each rose,then from there to next one,then back to fuse box,you you lose one of these feeds,then you not get ;power to next rose,i would advise you to get an electrician in,its a very simple fix for us,not for user
