My kitchen lights (2 fittings each with 3 halogen bulbs) and outside light (normal bulb) have suddenly stopped working (on the same circuit i think). They worked for months since I moved in. Nothing has changed. I first tried changing all bulbs and testing the switches (2, 2-way switches). Then have tried testing the voltage - there is definitely power reaching the circuit, but only 160V not 240V. Could this be the problem? I'm completely lost on this one!
check your consumer unit, esp the rccd,it may have tripped, your bulbs operate under high pressure, and some times when they go,they can trip an rccd or mcb
