Mend Renault Scenic 1998 Car Gears

renault scenic 1998 1.6 16v?

inlaws car !! goes into reverse but no forward gears, oil level OK same with gearchange cable has it got a gearbox ECU and were is it ???

should have two cables have a look side gearbox by bulkhead you willsee them have some one move gear stick as you look hope this helps
