Mend Renault Megane Scenic Automatic Gearbox

got a problem with my megane scenic?

help!just bought a renault megane scenic automatic 1998 and the car gets stuck between changing gears.when i ease off the accelerator it then moves into the next gear is this a common fault?ive been told it could just be dirty gearbox oil ,can anyone help?

My guess is that you are lifting off throttle to provoke a shift. The computer strategy will not change up until you reapply the gas for more than a few seconds. Try kicking down before you need to slow down immediately release the throttle and the lower gear locks in until you reapply the gas.

i got a speedo sencor from the main dealer ,they said it's attached too the gearbox but i looked and looked but no luck help pls
