Mend Peugeot 306 D Turbo Start Turned

Starting Problems On 1998 Peugeot 306 D Turbo?

Hi when i come to start my peugeot 306 d turbo it doesnt start straight away i have to keep the key turned n it starts eventually.
The battery did go flat last sunday after failing to start recharged it and been like the above ever since...the glow plugs light goes out.

new battery?
glow plugs?
alternator?

help please!

try bleeding the fuol systeam by the bleed scew on the fillter

Sounds like glow plugs, take them out and test them across a battery with a set of jump leads or just buy a new set (Bosch).
