flamerite serene electric fire ?

My flameritr serene fire just stopped done the usual replaced battery, fuse, read on here to work with remote no joy,what is circuit board if that's what I need, or will I have to replace the whole fireplace,don't really use it for heating but love to see the red glow,please any ideas,at pension age now and don't want to start pulling out fireplaces,
