Mend Peugeot 306 1.4 Fuses Battery Charging

why does my alternator fuses keep blowing?

I have a Peogoet 306 1.4 I have just put a new alternator in and battery and my fuses keep blowing! the slternator is not charging the battery ! We dont know what else to do??

check the thick wire to alternator if its rubbed in one place it may be shorting to earth and blowing the fuse.if not disconnect from alternator and see if it sparks to terminal if it does, check alternator to see if its the problem
