Mend Ravenheat Combi-boiler Boiler Combi Plumbing

ravenheat not lighting?

Got a Ravenheat Combi-boiler, Pilot light is out and will not light. Switch is not "clicking" to light pilot light. Not sure if it is the switch or something else. Any ideas?

I had a problem with boiler ignition. The explanation was that the electrode gap had been set too tight therefore the spark was unreliable. Fixing this inloves removing the boiler front cover and adjusting the gap to what it says in the manual. Do not remove the boiler front cover unless you are comfortable that you are technically competent. If in doubt call a Corgi registered fitter.
