how do i stop my scantronic 9651 false alarms pending a new battery install?

I put in the user access code on the keypad (type 9940) and left it, but it flipped out after about a minute.
will this keep it quiet?
or could you suggest a user menu to leave it in?

If so its taking a while for that new battery.

So to finish, it needs a new battery. Is it under a maintenance agreement? If so changing yourself will invalidate warranties.
Put in the master/manager code and leave it in a user menu to keep it quiet of disconnect the mains and let the externals ring for 15 mins and then all will be silent.
