Mend Dishlex Global 300 Dishwasher Wash Cycle Failure

Dishlex Global 300 Dishwasher fails to start?

When we have loaded our Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher and pressed the start button to begin the wash cycle, there is no response except for the green 'Prewash' light and the green 'Ready' light both coming on for a few seconds and then going out. Any help would be appreciated!
