Mend Jinlun JL55 Cut Out Start

cut out on start?

Hi just bought 55 Jinlun for son, rode when I bought but now starts , on putting into 1st cuts out immediatly. To me seems as an auto cut off. The stand sensor was loose partly of, reattached but did not make difference. Am I missing something really simple
