Hi Edward,
You need to make sure your spark electrode and pilto assembly are nice and clean so that the spark takes the easiest route. Also check the integrity of the electrode lead, making sure there are no splits or wire showing through the armorflex coating. Thirdly you need to make sure the piezo igniter is working correctly. To do this, pull the electrode lead out the end of it and put a screwdriver blade right up close to it about 3/4mm from the prongue. then click the button and make sure you have a nice strong spark. Hope this helps
