I think there is a fuel shut off solenoid. Sounds like you need a new one. Have a look at a workshop manual fo fault finding haynes do one for the cav its an Isuzu engine or the older ones are vaux engines .Try buying the genuine dealer workshop manual you never know ebay might have one for sale! -hope this helps-Darron
