i have a ford focus 1.6 estate. central locking used to work ok then last winter it stopped working altogether.then when the warmer weather arrived, it started working ok again.its now happening again this winter.have checked fuse thats ok. i suspect there must be a relay somewhere but how do i check it when i find it?
there should be a black box under the hood with fuses in it or relays they should all be marked on the inside if the box but it sounds more like it is getting wet and freezing or the grease in it is hardening so i would spray WD40 in it first to looesn the grease up some and if that dont work spray some alchohol up in the switch
