indesti w103 uk?

Hello,

I have an indesit w103uk and the timer dial is just going round and round and round for ever, and every couple of secnds the timer light is flashing 3 times in quick succession. We also noticed an electrical "burn out" smell which was coming from the timer part. We've replaced the timer with one from e-spares (very good btw) and there is no more bad smell, but its still doing the round and round, three flash thing.

Any ideas please?
