Cassette level LED indecator?

Hi The indecator light dose not seem to be working, (c-200 CWE could it be the float, it is rather gummed up with ? i just bought this caravan,is there any way i can test the LED without taking the toilet arpart.Regards Clive PS have filled the cassette full and still not working.
