Thetford caravan toilet continues to flush?

You're lucky I check you should have put this question in the caravans section you would have received replies maybe from someone who had and solved the same problem.
I have Lunar tourer manual pump thetford toilet C4 sticking with it as fed up with other c/van elec pumps and switched going on the blink. Got to sort taps out another switch pain in the arse fault.
HOPE THE FOLLOWING HELPS.

Bench types: C2 has it's own pump
Bench types: C3 has electronic valve and works from the main water tank/barrel but these are usally fitted to motorhomes.
In either case is sounds like the micro switch is stuck in the 'On' position. See below for access to thetford website and their pdf free repair downloads. If you don't know what model you have search the products page listing 'Built ins'

TIP: C2
Never try replacing the pump cable back to micro switch unit [unless you have to] you'll have to take the whole unit out to do that. Just cut the old wire and splice to the new pump wire using heat shrink sleaves obtainable in some auto shops. Watch the wire with thin trace colour [eg: white with black thin tracer colour] no matter if the wires are different colour make sure that you joint the wires with tracer colour on the old pump wire to the wire with a tracer on the new pump,then obviously join the two plain ones together.
