Mend Hotpoint WT741 Washing Machine Timer Program

Why is my timer out of synic?

We have a Hotpoint Ultima WT741 washing machine and when we start a new programe (say for one hour) the timer can start at 60 mins and within 3 mins the timer can say 35 mins.
As the programe is one hour it can take 1 1/2 hours
