or,buy a decent panel,have you allowed enough time for the battery to charge?have you checked voltage at keypad?on panel?battery ?even new ones can fail,as the guys said its a typical battery prob,but as its a budget panel,it may be cheaper for you to replace it,we use a special tester to check battery,but up to you mate ,also check any fuses on pcb,

hi,paul we suggested replacing the battery because the system presented the classic symptoms of cell failure.Any engineer would have taken this step.Troubleshooting the system is almost impossible for yourself, with a defunct keypad.Iam fairly convinced you have a electronic component failure.We cannot advise you on here because it involves removal and bypassing key functions.Maybe nows the time to call a listed engineer.good luck,.
