Mend Beko DRVS62W Front Panel

beko drvs62w not starting?

I've had to take the front panel off to change the front seal.
When I put it back, I noticed a "spare" 3 pin connector, that does not appear to have anywhere to plug in.
Now the dryer will not start, although, if I press and hold the start button, it does beep and cancel as expected.
Anyone got any ideas?

did you notice the door has to operate a micro swich,this cuts the power to the tumble when the door is opened.the dryer will not start because it thinks the door is open.look behind the door on the panel for a striker plate,the switch is behind the panel.the conector has come off the swich when you removed the panel.
