The complete wash cycle takes nearly three hours?

Bosch Exxcel 1400; takes over 3 hours to complete a wash even with the reduced time selected. The clock winds down during the wash cycle but stays at 0.01 for nearly two hours before then starting another wash cycle of 30 minutes, the spin cycle then starts at 36 minutes during the rinse cycel and the wash ends shortly afterwards
