Mend Sony WXC570R Switch Replace Front

Sony VOL Encoder Rotary Switch for WX-C570R?

I need to replace the VOL Encoder Rotary Switch on my Sony WXC570R in car stereo. Does anybody know if the switch can be pulled out from the front or does the unit need to be dismantled and desoldered from the PCB.
