The on/off switch/volume control is broken inside the radio/ cd in my citroen c5 2006 model. There are two small holes which I believed would release a clamp enabling removal of the radio. I´ve tried two small nails with no effect. How do I get the radio out to see if I can repair or replace the switch. The console also has the car management control buttons on the front
In each of those two holes is a T8 torques drive screw. Release them and it's out.

jus had to do one recently and it took ages to figure out i had to use a 2 mm allen key if its the radio with the 2 holes , one at each side , just keep turning the hex key until enough space is available to prize out

Hi David,
I faced the same issue with my C5.
Before removing the Radio I would suggest to try the following: Grab the black plastic Handle button and try to pull out.(gentle) . If it easy gets out and hangs , remove it completely (slightly harder). You won;t scratch anything. You will get access to the potentiometer, try directly to push it turning on the radio. If it works you are lucky as I was. Now you just need some superglue and silicone to fix the broken interior of the removed plastic handle. Pull it back and wait to get dry.

they are too small holes each side of the radio
use an old metal coat hanger 4 darts or very small screwdriver or long nails.
put into holes about 4-5cms and push outwards sideways
and carefully pull radio forward.
you must do the holes on each side at the same time
