Mend Westinghouse PXN688 Oven Grill Element Switch

Westinghouse oven model PXN688?

grill element remained on all the time, even when grill switch was turned off.
onchecking the fan turned off and on, but element remained on, with power off checking switch it appeared to work ok, put oven back together now appears to work normally, anyone ever experienced this problem?
