Mend Baumatic BT2750ss Oven Element

Baumatic BT2750ss main oven not working?

The main oven (on the left) of my BT2750 has stopped working but the right hand grill and hob are fine. There are no lights, fan or heat in the main oven. I need help identifying whats wrong, ie the oven switch, element of fan motor, because it makes no sense that all three are gone at the same time. From hwat i understand there are no seperate internal fuses for the main oven, so what could it be? help

Change the selector switch common fault on bheumatic for when switch goes it turns all things off i.e can grill light

Yes I have just found the same problem with the wire burnt out behind the selector switch. Does anyone know what size of cable should be used for the replacement?

Your problem here is possibly that someone has messed with the timer on the clock and switched it to Timer mode instead of manual so oven is not getting power ,Turn knob on clock until the "HAND" symbol is showing and this should solve your problem .

I had this problem and it was a burnt out wire going to the selector switch behind the main oven knob. Open up the top of the cooker (only 2 screws) and take a look (switch power off first!).
