my washing machine leaks nearer to the end of the cycle?

As it is to end of cycle, might not be m/c. The m/c does not have valves between drum and outlet, So in normal use, water is in most of system including outlet pipe. at end of cycle when it pumps out, IF your drain pipes are restricted, water would back up and overflow. So check your drain pipes, (after the m/c outlet.) End of pipe outside, needs to be above water level to allow water to get out. Probably not the m/c
