well carl, it is a big job. it will feel like you have had to take out half the interior just to get to it. i had to replace the heater matrix and it took the best part of two days to complete. finding some of the screws/bolts/nuts that hold the moulded dash/front panel in was the worst. start with/around the clocks and speaker grills to find some of the screws. i cant remember if the steering wheel has to come off but if you have airbags, dis-connect the power/battery and leave it a while (to err on the safe side, i'd leave it overnight) so that the airbag doesent go bang. then it's a case of finding the fixings for the dash by trial and error. it would help if there were a diagram of all the bolts that hold the dash in.
what exactly is wrong with the blower? mine only works on the fastest speed. however, the fan dial/knob in every peugeot and renault i have had has been the same. i have often wondered if the speed is controlled by a relay, i need to find out, does anyone know?
