I just had one replaced on my hot water heater today Sept 20, 2010 and the total cost was $186.00... They charged $69.00 for "Dispatch & Evaluation Fee" and $117 to do the work... It took about 20 minutes and I must admit that I was a bit shocked at what it cost... Freaking inflation I guess

Depends where you live and how long it takes to replace but between 50 and 60 £ is a rough idea!
