Fisher and Paykel GW611 Washing Machine won't stop draining or spin?

My fisher and paykel washing machine won't spin or agitate the clothes, and when I advance it on to the next stage it just drains the water but then doesn't stop and I have to turn it off? There is no beeping or lights flashing??

Sounds like a fault with main control board but could also be caused by many other reasons. Too expensive to just go and replace control board in the hope that it may fix the problem because it might not (money wasted) Best to call on a repair company to check & advise you.
