Miele Dishwasher G674?

1,Uncompleted wash,Inlet/outlet lamp flashing.

Carried out a soda clean wash.

Result- the drain pump continues to run when the machine is switched on and does not respond to any program setting.

My thinking is that
a, a sensor has gone closed circuit? but were would this be?

b,a relay has stuck closed, which one?

Can anybody shed some light on the probem before I start a strip down.
