Kenmore Quiet Guard II, model 665.17283400. The green clean light?

Kenmore Quiet Guard II, model 665.17283400. The green clean light keeps flashing. I have reset the controls several times by pressing heated dry and normal wash. It resets and starts a cycle but stops before finishing the wash. What other problems could cause this?
