Mend GE JEM35 Resetting Time Display

Know why my GE Spacemaker XL microwave keeps resetting?

Every time I try to use it, after two seconds it turns off and the display says to PRESS CLOCK. I then have to put in the time and date. I try to use it again and after two seconds, the same thing happens.

Any ideas?
