Mend Potterton Perfoma 28i Central Heating Hot Water Boiler

my boiler flame goes out then reignites?

I have a potterton perfoma 28i boiler.when ever the central heating comes on or the hot tapis run, the flame ignites till it gets to the next temp reading on the boiler. It then goes out but reignites a few seconds later. This means the hot water takes ages It never used to do this, what is the problem likely to
