hi,
had same problem. Two years ago called serviceman, who replaced whole microcontroler board, and it was OK for next two ar three years, then problem E5 (sometimes E4) error reapear.
Accidentaly found a solution- Replaced both low voltage electrolyte capacitors on microcontroller board and thats it. My fridge became as good as new :)

As I indicated and noted at my above answer to repair for E5 error,before, the : Motorized Baffle Switch is not a component
and device;that is a system consist of a NTC and a control (
microcontroller) board.

Hello,

E5 error code in BEKO refrigerator (model;NCO9600)means;

[Motorized Baffle Switch Error]

NTC detect the rate of the coldness and send it to the
microcontroller (control)board,to control and set the
desired temperature or desired coldness that the user
adjusted it by the buttons that are placed at the displayer
at the front door,before.

**How to repair it:

step 0;

*** A.To be very cautious when you check and test
the electronic circuit or board and component and avoid
from short circuiting.!! ***

B. unplug the refrigerator for about 12 or 24 hours
to melt the unwanted ice and snow thrush.

step 1;open the 3 inner walls of the freezer which is at the
top of your refrigerator with a individual door.

step 2; replace the left hand side of the NTC that is related to the refrigerator part and not for the freezer part,the freezer's NTC is placed at the right hand side,its shape is like a small white cylinder,[thermistor;a resistor with a negative temperature coefficient sensor] a typical range of that NTC at freeze temperature should be about 110k ohm:you can measure it as soon as open that above inner walls of the freezer to check it.

step 3;This step is very important and critical:
*[Access to the microcontroller or controller board]*;

open the door that is placed at the back and the extreme
top of the refrigerator specially at [BEKO model;NCO9600],
then push down and press the RESET button for a 3 seconds and reset the microcontroller.

step 4; then,check if the E5 code removed from the displayer
at the front door?if not,press the Reset button again.

Step 5; unplug the refrigerator and close all doors or walls
and parts that you previously opened with their screws.

step 6; wait 5 minutes,for compressor securities, and then
plug to mains the refrigerator and check the cold wind in
the refrigerator part that is at the down with an individual
door.

step 6; For about 12 hours,do not place any things at the
refrigerator and let it to work unload and empty.then,you
can use as usual and enjoy from your repair!
