Mend Volkswagen Passat 00 Battery Car Today

How can i fix battery issue on vw passat 00?

hi, i recently put in a new altenator and battery in the car, today i went to start the car and battery was flat again, the battery light was constantly on before parking it up the evening before the morning it happened, jus wondering have ye any solutions to my problem? all lights radio etc are working away but when i go to turn the key its just a click
