heater display/radio fault?

i have a x reg Peugeot 406 hdi the radio has stopped working and the heater control display is still lite up even when the key is removed???after about a minute or so it goes off.can anyone please advise me on anything to check i have already checked the fuses & found all of them ok even the large ones
