Mend Baumatic BDW 45.1 Dishwasher Panel Program

Baumatic BDW 45.1 - number 17 on panel and button doesn't work?

When I switch the dishwasher on, there are no lights on when I press the P button so can't change the program. Then it has a number 17 displayed on the readout bit. How do I fix this? When I close it and let it run, it just rinses for two minutes and then stops.

Turns out the timer switch was jammed - resolved itself (EVENTUALLY) by itself :)
