Program timer on Diplomat ADP 8242 - wash not starting?
My dishwasher (5 1/2yrs old) has started playing up - it fills and starts a program then stops. The light on the panel stays lit for the program selected (i.e. not flashing for finished) but nothing happens. I have attempted all programs - each time it drains, fills, starts, and then stops within a couple of minutes.
Salt dispenser is filled as is rinse-aid. No changes to the water supply or drainage either.
Thanks, Foxy - found some of your other advice about resetting the software which seemed to do the trick.
Am sure I'll end up forking out for a replacement soon enough but at least that has been postponed!

Hi Paul, it sounds like it is stopping when the recirc motor should start.It could be the motor u/s or jammed with debris or possibly the start capacitor faulty.All the best.
