Mend Smeg DWF 1-2 Fault Code E8

smeg dishwasher DWF 1-2 displaying fault code E8?

the machine starts - it drains then whithin 1 minute E 8 comes up. I have checked the diverter valve off circuit it works ok - have also tested the micro switch which is ok, cleaned the chamber with hot water but still no resolve. any help appreciated.
